Supporting the Future of Bus and Coach Mobility

Every two years, the Australasia Bus & Coach Expo brings together the businesses shaping Australia’s bus and coach industry.

Vehicle manufacturers unveil new models, technology companies introduce intelligent transport systems, component suppliers showcase the products that keep fleets moving. Over two days at Sydney Showground, the industry came together to share ideas, launch new products and reconnect with customers, suppliers and peers.

The 2026 Expo achieved record attendance with over 4,300 participants and reflected an industry in transition. Electrification, accessibility, passenger experience, telematics and fleet technology featured throughout the exhibition, alongside the companies driving those changes.

Grand Stand Events partnered with seven exhibitors across this year’s event, with each project responding to a different brief, a different audience and a different way of telling its story. Some centred on full-size vehicle displays while others focused on live demonstrations, product launches or technical conversations.

The projects below offer a closer look at each stand and the thinking behind it.

Beyond the Exhibition Floor

Exhibitions are often measured by stand size, visitor numbers or product launches.

What stays with people is something else; conversation that leads to a new customer, a product demonstration that answers the right question, a long-standing client catching up over coffee, or a team seeing months of planning finally come together.

Those moments happen across every exhibition, regardless of the footprint.

The Australasia Bus & Coach Expo 2026 brought together businesses from every part of the industry, each contributing something different. The projects featured here reflect that diversity, from large vehicle manufacturers to specialist technology providers, all working towards the same goal of moving the industry forward.
