A Partnership Built Over a Decade

Long-term partnerships create better exhibition experiences.

Having partnered with BCI since 2016, every project builds on years of collaboration, understanding and trust. Rather than reinventing the exhibition presence each time, our role is to evolve it, refining the visitor experience while staying true to the brand’s identity and commercial objectives.

For the Australasia Bus & Coach Expo 2026, BCI wanted to celebrate an important milestone: 35 years of delivering sustainable transport solutions. The stand needed to showcase multiple vehicles while creating a warm, welcoming environment where customers, operators and industry professionals could comfortably connect with the team. The brief also prioritised sustainability by reusing key exhibition assets from previous events wherever possible.

Key Features

  • • Approximately 443sqm exhibition footprint
  • • Four full-size vehicle displays
  • • Custom hospitality pavilion
  • • Dedicated barista coffee station
  • • Suspended circular overhead banner
  • • Timber-look raised flooring
  • • Feature greenery
  • • Dynamic lighting package
  • • Reused exhibition assets to reduce waste
  • • Custom reception counter
  • • Graphic production and installation
  • • End-to-end project management

Designing a Destination

At more than 440 square metres, the exhibition footprint provided an impressive platform for BCI’s latest vehicle range.

Instead of allowing the scale of the display to overwhelm visitors, the design focused on creating an experience that felt open, inviting and easy to navigate.

Three buses naturally became the hero of the space, framed by warm timber-look flooring, and a central hospitality pavilion that encouraged visitors to pause, enjoy a coffee and spend time with the BCI team.

Suspended above the stand, a large circular banner provided strong visibility from across the exhibition hall while reinforcing the BCI brand from every approach.

Every element was designed to support meaningful conversations, not distract from them.

Thoughtful Evolution

One of the greatest advantages of a long-standing client relationship is understanding what works.

Rather than replacing assets, the 2026 stand thoughtfully integrated existing infrastructure, including the custom reception counter and overhead circular banner, while refreshing graphics, visitor touchpoints and branding to celebrate BCI’s 35-year anniversary.

This approach delivered several benefits:

  • • Reduced waste through asset reuse
  • • Improved budget efficiency
  • • Faster installation
  • • Greater consistency across BCI’s exhibition presence

It’s a practical example of how thoughtful exhibition design can support both sustainability and long-term value.

Hospitality at the Centre

Trade shows are built around conversations.

The hospitality area became the heart of the stand, featuring comfortable lounge seating, informal meeting areas and a dedicated barista coffee station that encouraged visitors to stay longer and engage with the team.

Inspired by Scandinavian architecture and natural materials discussed during the design brief, timber finishes, soft furnishings and greenery helped create an atmosphere that felt more like a welcoming lounge than a traditional exhibition stand.

Combined with carefully considered lighting and open sightlines across the vehicles, the hospitality space became a natural meeting point throughout the event.

The Outcome

For BCI, the stand successfully balanced two important objectives.

It celebrated 35 years of innovation while continuing to evolve a trusted exhibition presence that customers have come to recognise over nearly a decade.

By combining premium hospitality, considered material selections and a practical approach to sustainability, the space provided an inviting environment where vehicles remained the hero and conversations happened naturally.

It’s another chapter in a partnership we’ve been proud to support since 2016, and one that continues to evolve with every event.
