We had the pleasure of partnering with VMLY&R again this year to produce an exceptional custom-built stand for Transport for NSW (TNSW) at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

The stand, covering an area of 153 square meters, was built over a four-day period, after four months of careful planning and development.

TNSW plays a vital role in the development of safe and efficient transport systems for the people of New South Wales. This year, 3 departments were represented (Centre for Road Safety, Centre for Maritime Safety, and NSW Trainlink) and the objective was to bring them to life through a captivating and immersive design.

We successfully designed an interactive custom stand that aimed to engage individuals of all ages in transport safety education. The main goal was to draw attendees to the space, giving them a chance to learn about transport safety and encouraging them to adopt safer habits.

To make the stand both informative and enjoyable, we incorporated various elements to create a lively atmosphere. The stand featured a crossing officer cut-out, adding a touch of fun while reinforcing the importance of pedestrian safety. A custom real-life scale school zone crossing sign enhanced the authenticity of the experience.

Utilising technology and engaging displays, TNSW effectively promoted safe practices and educated the public on the significance of transport safety. Attractions included a custom-built train simulator, a virtual mirror and a lifejacket challenge. The virtual mirror provided a visual representation of the aftermath of a motorbike accident, serving as a powerful reminder of the importance of adapted clothing when riding.

The end result was an eye-catching custom stand that not only educated but also entertained visitors, creating a lasting impression and contributing to the overall success of the event.
