Norah Head Swim School approached us with a simple brief to transform the swim school into a bright, fun and welcoming space for visitors.

From the initial concept, through to design and construction, we were able to put our creative heads together and the result was amazing, proving that at Grand Stand Events ‘We Don’t Do Ordinary’!

The space was painted white to create a more open and modern feel. The bridge was relocated to improve accessibility and make use of the entire pool.
We also added more seating and installed shutters for better ventilation.

A dedicated baby change area was introduced to the rear of the swim school and the installation of colourful soft fall flooring made the space safer and child-friendly.

The mural of an underwater wonderland was curated to capture the children’s imagination and create a space where children want to learn.

To enhance functionality, we built various equipment storage units around the pool.

In line with creating a fun and bright space, props like novelty umbrellas and a giant school bell to ring when achieving a new swim level were added to the swim centre to engage and provide enjoyment for the children whilst learning to swim.
