Not only is James Hardie Industries a worldwide building materials company but it is also the largest global manufacturer of fibre cement products.

In 2021 they wanted to find a unique way to take their new Hardie Fine Texture Cladding products directly to the public that’s where we came in.

We were very excited to partner with our clients VMYL&R and Ogilvy to design and create three custom portable show rooms for their pop-up activation events.

Each container really stands out painted entirely in James Hardie green with white branding.

They feature double doors that open at each end and include LCD screens displaying product content, the walls are lined with their new products and custom graphics throughout  provide information about the range. The containers are fully wired to run on power but also include a generator to run off grid.

These containers are designed to travel and provide a fully immersive experience with the idea that once you step inside you can see, hear, touch, and learn about the products.

The first container/portable show room was built in 2021 visiting over 40 hardware stores in three different states and now rests in SA awaiting its next move.

As it was such a huge success in 2022 the second and third were built. One heading to Victoria for the Bunnings and Bowens exhibitions set to then travel around New South Wales on a roadshow. Whilst the last built is set to travel Queensland to do a similar tour.

It was an absolute pleasure watching it all come together.
