Cathay Pacific exhibits at World Travel Expo 2019

This custom stand was a re-creation of a previous stand we built for Cathay Pacific with upgraded graphics and furniture.

The use of clean whites and teal from the company branding created a bright welcoming space. The lounges provided a comfy seating area for their potential customers to sit and relax while learning about all of the specials on offer. The large graphic on the back wall was beautifully framed by a bulkhead and highlighted with LED downlights.

In 1946, Roy Farrell and Sydney de Kantzow – two ex-Air Force pilots known for flying ‘The Hump’ over the Himalayas – had the idea to fly much-needed goods from Australia into post-war China. From there came Cathay Pacific, an airline fuelled by its founders’ passion for flying and love of the region.

In fact, the name Cathay Pacific originates from Roy Farrell’s sense of ambition – that the new airline would one day cross the vast Pacific Ocean from China. This progressive thinking and optimism for the future was proven right less than thirty years later with their first transpacific flight.
