Show: BNI Global “Beyond” Convention 2025 – ICC Sydney
Client: BNI Global
Scope: Shell scheme construction, signage production, furniture supply, logistics, freight, and exhibitor infrastructure
Booths Delivered: 84 exhibitor booths across four levels of ICC Sydney
Introduction
The BNI Global “Beyond” Convention transformed ICC Sydney into a multi-level exhibition environment, bringing together businesses from around the world. Exhibitors travelled internationally to attend, and when they arrived, their space needed to be complete, correctly branded, and ready for immediate use.
Grand Stand Events was responsible for delivering the full exhibitor infrastructure across Level 2 Foyer, Level 3 Foyer, Level 3 Cockle Bay Room, and Level 4 Foyer. This included constructing 84 shell scheme booths, producing and installing exhibitor signage, supplying furniture packages, coordinating logistics, and ensuring every booth was operational before exhibitors arrived onsite.
With only one day allocated for bump-in, preparation and execution were critical.

About the BNI Beyond Global Convention
The BNI Beyond Global Convention is one of the organisation’s flagship international events, bringing together business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the global BNI network. The convention provides a platform for members and partners to connect, collaborate, and explore opportunities within one of the world’s largest structured business networking organisations.
BNI operates in more than 70 countries and supports hundreds of thousands of members worldwide. The global convention represents a key annual gathering, where international attendees come together for education, partnership development, and business growth.
The exhibition environment plays a central role in the convention experience. Exhibitors showcase services, technology, and solutions directly to an engaged audience of business decision makers, creating opportunities for meaningful connections and long-term commercial relationships.
For the 2025 convention, ICC Sydney was transformed into a multi-level exhibition space designed to accommodate international exhibitors across several areas of the venue. Each exhibitor required a professionally constructed, fully operational booth environment ready for immediate activation upon arrival.
Delivering this infrastructure required careful coordination, precise installation, and a structured approach to ensure the exhibition environment was ready within the allocated bump-in window.
The Challenge
Delivering shell scheme infrastructure across four separate levels of ICC Sydney required careful planning and coordination. Each booth needed to be constructed accurately, branded correctly, and fitted with the required furniture and infrastructure before exhibitor move-in.
Exhibitors were located across multiple floors, each with its own access constraints and installation sequencing requirements. Signage production, freight handling, and infrastructure installation all needed to be completed within a strict installation window.
- • Construction of 84 individual exhibition booths
- • Production and installation of more than 140 fascia signage panels
- • Supply and placement of trestle tables, linen, seating, counters, and display furniture
- • Installation of exhibitor signage and mounted infrastructure
- • Transport, staging, and logistics coordination across four venue levels
- • Managing installation timelines within a single bump-in window
Many exhibitors were based overseas, which required coordination of artwork approvals, signage production, and infrastructure preparation in advance of the event.

Our Solution
Grand Stand Events approached the project with a structured installation plan, ensuring all components, signage, and furniture were staged and packed in order of install. This allowed our teams to move efficiently through each level of the venue.
Shell scheme structures were installed across all four levels, creating consistent booth environments for each exhibitor. Fascia signage was produced and installed to ensure every booth was clearly identified and professionally presented.
Furniture packages were delivered and installed across the exhibition, including tables, linen, seating, and displays. Each booth was fitted according to the exhibitor schedule.
Logistics, international freight, and transport were managed to ensure all materials arrived onsite and were distributed to the correct locations efficiently.
- • Construction of full shell scheme infrastructure across four venue levels
- • Production and installation of exhibitor fascia signage
- • Supply and installation of furniture packages across all booths
- • Freight handling, transport, and staging of exhibition infrastructure
- • Installation planning to ensure efficient bump-in delivery
- • Preparation and sequencing to ensure all booths were ready for exhibitor arrival

The Result
By early afternoon on bump-in day, all 84 booths had been fully constructed, branded, and fitted with furniture. This gave exhibitors time to move in and prepare their displays without any delays.
The completed environment provided exhibitors with consistent, professional spaces ready for engagement. Infrastructure, signage, and furniture were installed accurately, ensuring the exhibition opened smoothly.
- • 84 exhibitor booths constructed across four levels
- • Full signage installation completed ahead of exhibitor arrival
- • Furniture delivered and installed according to booth schedules
- • Installation completed within the allocated bump-in timeframe
