For the All Energy Expo 2024, Design Team engaged us to create a bold and functional mezzanine stand for their client, Sungrow. The goal was to establish a commanding presence, blending impactful brand visuals with practical spaces for product display and client engagement. Our team brought Design Team’s vision and design to life, executing a complex multi-level structure that combined premium design, advanced technology, and seamless functionality.

The result was a visually captivating stand that became a focal point, attracting significant foot traffic and enhancing Sungrow’s brand presence.

Project Details

Design and Layout

The Sungrow stand was designed to create an inviting, functional, and distinctly branded experience:

• Flooring: A sophisticated combination of white tiles and vinyl timber-look flooring differentiated the mezzanine spaces, creating a balance of modern appeal and warmth.
• Mezzanine Structure: Measuring 5.875m x 6.222m, the mezzanine included:
• Two upper-level meeting rooms: White elegant space with timber featured walls, and LCD screens for meeting purposes.
• Ground-Level Product Display Space: Under the mezzanine, we dedicated space to showcase Sungrow’s products, complete with:
• Recessed LED lighting to create a well-lit, engaging atmosphere.
• Backlit displays and sleek overhead lighting that highlighted Sungrow’s innovations against a clean, white backdrop.
• Hidden Storage Access: A discreet door provided convenient storage access for the team without disrupting the booth’s aesthetic.

Exterior and Branding Elements

• Branding and Visibility: The mezzanine’s white exterior was accented with Sungrow’s signature orange neon, light bars, and a large LED display screen, ensuring strong brand visibility throughout the expo hall.
• Overhead Branding: A suspended, backlit “O” letter from the Sungrow logo made of acrylic and timber hung below a 3.5m x 3.5m x 2.5m LED display cube, providing an eye-catching focal point from across the venue.
Floor-Level Fixtures
• Custom Cabinetry: To support visitor engagement, the floor included a 3.3m x 1.05m white laminate cabinetry unit and a 2.5m x 1.732m x 0.9m hospitality counter. Each unit was finished in white laminate and featured backlit Sungrow branding, seamlessly blending functionality with brand identity.

Challenges and Solutions

Safety: To ensure structural integrity, our team test-builds every mezzanine prior to the official install day. This thorough approach allows us to address potential stability issues in a controlled environment, reducing the likelihood of setbacks during the event setup. All our multi level installs are also engineer certified.

On-Site Adjustments: Despite extensive planning, some challenges can only be resolved once on-site. At the All Energy Expo, minor adjustments were needed due to last-minute changes and venue floor discrepancies. Our team’s experience allowed us to quickly adapt to these changes, maintaining the build timeline, structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the stand.
