Project Overview
Grand Stand Events has partnered with Consat since 2022, delivering exhibition stands that support the company’s continued growth within the Australian public transport industry.
For the 2026 Australasia Bus & Coach Expo, Consat required a stand that reflected its technology-driven brand while creating a practical environment for live demonstrations, customer meetings and industry conversations.
Working within a compact 12sqm footprint, the focus was on making every square metre count. The finished stand combined strong branding, integrated technology and functional meeting space in a layout that remained open, welcoming and easy to navigate.

The Challenge
Unlike vehicle manufacturers exhibiting at the Expo, Consat’s products couldn’t simply be displayed on the show floor.
The stand needed to communicate a sophisticated technology platform through demonstrations, digital content and conversations. At the same time, it had to accommodate reception, storage, hospitality and meeting space within a footprint measuring just 6 metres by 2 metres.
Creating a stand that felt open without sacrificing functionality became the defining challenge of the project.
The Design
The layout was built around simplicity, visibility and conversation. Evolution rather than revolution! It was about adjusting what worked well in the past and applying it into their space.
A suspended overhead fabric banner established a strong presence across the hall, while clean architectural lines and warm timber finishes balanced Consat’s blue branding.
Digital displays became the centrepiece of the stand, creating dedicated areas for live demonstrations without interrupting visitor flow. A central meeting space encouraged longer customer conversations, while integrated storage kept equipment and personal items hidden from view.
Every design decision supported the same objective: creating a stand that felt larger than its footprint while making it easy for visitors to engage with the Consat team.

Bringing the Stand to Life
The build included a reception counter, modular walling, printed graphics, raised Eco Floor flooring with a black marble vinyl finish, integrated digital displays, a 65-inch wall-mounted screen, 55-inch touchscreen, suspended fabric banner, architectural lighting, hospitality furniture and concealed storage. Every component was coordinated to maximise functionality while maintaining a clean, professional presentation.
The result was a stand that looked polished from every angle while supporting demonstrations, meetings and day-to-day operation throughout the exhibition.
The Visitor Experience
The open frontage invited visitors onto the stand, where live demonstrations and conversations could begin immediately.
The large digital display and interactive touchscreen allowed the Consat team to demonstrate their telematics solutions in a practical, hands-on way, while the central meeting area provided a comfortable setting for more detailed discussions with operators, fleet managers and industry stakeholders.
Throughout the two-day Expo, the stand supported a steady flow of demonstrations, networking and customer meetings without ever feeling overcrowded.
The Result
The completed stand delivered everything Consat needed from its presence at the Australasia Bus & Coach Expo.
Despite its compact footprint, the stand successfully combined product demonstrations, customer engagement and hospitality within a clean, contemporary environment that reflected the Consat brand.
It was another successful project delivered as part of Grand Stand Events’ ongoing partnership with Consat and demonstrated how thoughtful planning and efficient design can maximise even the smallest exhibition spaces.
