Show: Fine Food Australia 2025 – ICC Sydney
Client: IEC Group (for the Polish Investment & Trade Agency / “Poland Tastes Good”)
Stand Size: 6m × 15m (90 sqm)
Purpose: To showcase Polish food and beverage innovation under a unified national brand while providing 11 co-exhibitors with dedicated product display and meeting spaces.
Introduction
The Poland Pavilion at Fine Food Australia 2025 brought together 11 co-exhibitors under the national brand “Poland Tastes Good.” Spanning 6m × 15m, the pavilion needed to balance the collective identity of Poland’s food industry with the flexibility to showcase individual companies.
While Grand Stand Events did not design the original concept, our role was critical in transforming the vision into a functional, high-impact reality. By combining our hire stock with custom-built elements, we delivered a pavilion that not only looked cohesive but also performed as a strategic sales environment.

The Challenge
Multi-exhibitor pavilions demand a fine balance between unity and individuality. The Poland Pavilion required:
- • 11 exhibitor counters and glass display cabinets with consistent branding
- • A central KOWR information desk to serve as the national hub
- • Integrated storage, AV, refrigeration, and coffee service facilities
- • Large-scale illuminated branding and rigged overhead signage to ensure visibility across the hall
- • A layout that encouraged visitor flow while giving each exhibitor space to engage meaningfully with prospects
Our Solution
Grand Stand Events took the base design and engineered it to drive results:
- • Custom fabrication:
Key pieces, including the storeroom, coffee counter, and branded plinths, were custom-built to align with the pavilion’s design intent, ensuring durability and high visual impact. - • Lighting and signage:
Halo-lit 3D logos, overhead lightboxes, and integrated downlighting created a striking national identity while guiding visitors through the space. - • Custom overhead installation with integrated greenery:
This element added warmth and visual texture to the national presence, helping to balance the clean architectural lines with a more inviting atmosphere. - • Functional flow:
A purpose-built back-of-house area consolidated storage, refrigeration, and utilities, ensuring exhibitors could concentrate on networking and sales without operational distractions. - • Feature element:
A 4.5m faux fig tree was installed to soften the space, create a central landmark, and encourage dwell time.

Results
The Poland Pavilion was more than a national showcase — it became a conversion-focused environment. With the combination of bold national branding, consistent exhibitor presentation, and integrated hospitality, this created a space that was both welcoming and commercially effective. Exhibitors benefitted from a professional platform that enhanced credibility, while visitors engaged with a pavilion that felt open, vibrant, and purposeful.

Measured Impact
The Poland Pavilion outperformed industry benchmarks across every key metric. With 6,147 visitors and a 65.3% conversion rate, the stand more than doubled the typical FMCG/food exhibition benchmark of ~28%. Average dwell times reached over 20 minutes per visit, compared to the benchmark of just 5–10 minutes, and repeat visits totalled 2,012 — more than three times the industry average.
The result: a stand that not only attracted high volumes of traffic but held attention and built return engagement well above expectations.

Built to Sell
The Poland Pavilion demonstrates how Grand Stand Events reframes design as a strategic sales tool. Even when working from another party’s concept, we transformed the pavilion into an environment that looked impressive but actively supported lead generation and business outcomes.
Conclusion
The Poland Pavilion at Fine Food Australia 2025 stands as proof that execution can transform design into a sales-focused reality. By combining custom elements with efficient hire solutions, we delivered a national showcase that was both visually striking and commercially effective.
