At Grand Stand Events, the Brisbane Truck Show is a key event in our calendar, held every two years. The 2023 edition didn’t disappoint, attracting over 42,850 attendees and more than 300 exhibitors. Our role in designing five standout exhibition stands demonstrated our commitment to innovation, detailed planning, and flawless execution. This case study outlines our contributions and the impact of our custom stands on both our clients and the overall success of the event.
The Event
The Brisbane Truck Show 2023 covered 35,000 square metres, serving as a key meeting point for professionals and enthusiasts to connect and explore the latest advancements in the trucking industry. Grand Stand Events was proud to present five custom-built stands that captured the attention and engagement of attendees.
Custom Stand Highlights
1. Volvo’s Double-Storey Stand
In partnership with Flare Creative, we delivered a striking double-storey stand for Volvo. The mezzanine level featured a lounge with a barista, offering a relaxed setting for attendees to engage with Volvo’s products. The 765m2 ground level included a private staff room, meeting space, and a display area showcasing Volvo’s trucks, ensuring the vehicles remained the focal point of the stand.
2. Hendrickson’s 50th Anniversary Stand
To mark 50 years of Hendrickson in Australia, we designed a custom stand with a dual-section layout, connected by a central hospitality hub. The stand showcased their trailer and truck products, featuring a towering fabric banner, impactful wall graphics, and a gobo light projection of their logo, creating a memorable experience for visitors.
3. Sea Electric’s Green-Themed Stand
For Sea Electric, we designed a 200m2 stand displaying their electric trucks and a ute, surrounded by custom greenery. The stand featured an oversized entrance sign and a multifunctional space with a display area, lounge, and a talk zone, all enhanced by feature lighting to highlight their sustainable offerings.
4. Dana’s Functional Exhibition Space
Dana’s 100m2 stand was designed to reflect their clarity and innovation. The space was divided into distinct meeting and display areas, highlighted by product plinths, a large LED screen, and an 85-inch LCD for presentations. A diamond-shaped rigged banner added visual impact, reinforcing Dana’s brand identity.
5. Teletrac Navman’s Interactive Stand
For Teletrac Navman, we built a 6m x 9m interactive stand featuring a gaming area with a PS5 to boost visitor engagement. Mid-event, we reimagined part of the stand to celebrate their partnership with Little Trucker Down Under magazine, adding a photo booth for a fun, interactive touch.
Conclusion
Our involvement in the Brisbane Truck Show 2023 was a huge success. The custom stands we created for Volvo, Hendrickson, Sea Electric, Dana, and Teletrac Navman not only captured attention but provided each client with a unique platform to showcase their products and milestones.
